Anaiah Wilson-Poston

I am a graduate of Judson University, a Christian and Liberal Arts institution, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Worship Arts with a minor in Sociology. My love for music has always been a driving force in my life, and it continues to shape my career as I currently serve at a church. Through my diverse experiences, I have developed strong skills in communication, organization, confidentiality, adaptability, and time management.

In addition to my professional endeavors in music, I am deeply passionate about mental health advocacy. This passion stems from my personal journey with mental health challenges, which has given me a profound understanding and empathy for those in vulnerable moments. I am dedicated to providing support with compassion and understanding, and I strive to make a positive impact on individuals' lives through both my work and advocacy efforts.

As a Residence Hall Director at Saint Mary's College (August 2022 - August 2023), I cultivated a supportive community by creating a welcoming environment and leading educational and social programs for student development. I advised students on personal, interpersonal, and academic issues, mediated conflicts, and provided ongoing support. My role included training and supervising student staff, promoting leadership and teamwork, managing crisis interventions, providing emergency response, and overseeing administrative processes and facility management.

Currently, as a Campus Worship Pastor at Christ Community Church (September 2023 - Present), I lead rehearsals and services, identify and nurture volunteers, and build highly functioning teams. I participate in worship design and planning meetings, implement worship-related tasks, and facilitate creative worship experiences to engage the congregation. I also manage special music options for services, coordinate logistics, and support ministry development.
