My name is Andreea Socaciu. I am a prospective graduate of Georgia Southern University’s Family Nurse Practitioner Program for May 2022 and intend to take the board certification exam in June/July of 2022. I am writing to express my interest in the Family Nurse Practitioner position at.

I have 12 years of nursing experience in diverse specialties, including aesthetics and dermatology, pediatric home health, the operating room, and intensive care. I have received multiple aesthetic and dermatology certifications since 2019 and have attended conferences and advanced training classes regarding aesthetics. I consistently pursue continuing education and will attend a “Dermatology Refresher Symposium” from October 1-3, 2021.

I have a proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced and challenging environments while providing high quality patient care. I am skilled with patient assessment, collaborative treatment plan development, and patient education. My years of working with a variety of patients have given me the exposure to refine my assessment skills, time management abilities, and overall clinical judgment.

My education has prepared me well for providing care for dermatology patients. I completed over 500 hours of clinical exposure with outstanding preceptors. I gained skills in advanced assessment, diagnostics, treatment plan development, and disease management. My education, in combination with my nursing experience, has prepared me to transition to the advanced practice role and provide compassionate and comprehensive care to aesthetic and dermatology patients.
