Andres Cardona

I am a U.S. Army veteran with 14 years of experience as a Military Police Sergeant. My background includes leadership, discipline, and teamwork developed through military service. I also worked as an Electronics Assembler at Hamilton Sundstrand (UTC Aerospace Systems) and later as a Mail Handler with the United States Postal Service for seven years.

Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work to continue serving others — especially veterans, families, and individuals in need with dedication, empathy, and integrity.

I am a U.S. Army Veteran and former Military Police Sergeant with over 14 years of honorable service in the National Guard. During my military career, I developed strong leadership, discipline, and teamwork skills while serving both in the United States and abroad.

My professional background includes experience as an Electronics Assembler and Painter at Hamilton Sundstrand (UTC Aerospace Systems), where I worked in harness assembly, machine operation, board assembly, and coating. I was also a member of the Hazardous Material Emergency Response Team and participated in the FAA Aviation Maintenance Technician Awards Program.

I also worked as a Field Technician Assistant at Computer Sciences Corporation, providing on-site technical support, and as a Mail Handler for the United States Postal Service, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of mail and packages.

Currently, I am pursuing a master’s degree in Social Work at Ana G. Méndez University, Metro-Orlando Campus. My goal is to apply my leadership, service, and communication skills to help individuals, families, and veterans overcome social and emotional challenges, and to promote social justice and community well-being.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I also completed a certification in Personal Fitness Training at the National Personal Training Institute. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work at Ana G. Méndez University, Metro-Orlando Campus.
