I am a pre-medical student with a strong academic background in biology, biochemistry, and physics, currently completing a post-baccalaureate program at Stony Brook University. Before transitioning into the medical field, I earned a master’s degree in Physics, which strengthened my analytical skills, technical problem-solving, and ability to work with complex systems—skills that directly support laboratory and research environments.
I have hands-on experience with ELISA, chromatography, physiological measurements, EKG interpretation, and general laboratory techniques, as well as clinical experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Through my CNA role, I have also developed strong teamwork skills by collaborating with nurses and healthcare staff in fast-paced clinical environments. I am actively seeking a research assistant position where I can contribute to experimental design, data collection, and laboratory operations.
Motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about biomedical science, I am eager to support research that advances medicine and improves patient care.
I have professional experience in both clinical and technical environments. I currently work as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where I provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs, support daily living activities, and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. This role strengthened my attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and understanding of patient-centered care.
In addition to my clinical background, I previously worked in engineering/telecommunications, where I developed strong analytical and technical skills, gained experience with complex systems, and learned to solve problems efficiently. I also have laboratory experience in ELISA, chromatography, sample preparation, physiological measurements, and EKG interpretation.
Post-baccalaureate pre-medical student at Stony Brook University with coursework in biology, biochemistry, and physics.
