Experience working with adolescents in residential settings, medical social work, and respite settings within multidisciplinary teams and independently offered a diverse perspective on the roles in social work. With a compassion to aid others and a desire to learn new ways to assist with evidence-based knowledge, my work will stay effective and contribute to any setting I work in.
I have over twenty years of experience helping people meet their needs by interviewing, assessing, developing a plan, and ensuring it is reasonable and measurable while within the client's frame of reference. There have been successful outcomes. Applying all aspects of my working experience throughout my lifespan, social work is the most meaningful.
Working with people in close settings, helping them with some of their personal needs, has given me the perspective of the deeper values that inform my practice today. Having been a cosmetologist working closely with clients now having learning in detail of how to help others with behavioral health theories the Master's Program of Social work.
