Dedicated ABA therapist with multiple years of experience in providing investigative and analysis-based strategies to improve cognitive functioning in children. Using interviews, behavioral analysis methods, and building rapport with parents/children met with a considerable increase in many cognitive-based functions. These cognitive-based functions include speaking, eating, following directions, and physical motor functions.
The responsibilities that have been met throughout my time at Beacon include collecting/analyzing data for the BCBA, documenting various aspects of behaviors, maintaining ethical practices, and authoring daily clinical/behavioral reports. The most rewarding part of this position was experiencing and observing growth in the client's verbal, motor, and social areas of life.
During this time many useful qualities and skills were provided to this company. During a normal shift, I would provide instruction, coaching, and motivation to about 72 employees. While providing instruction I would foster a positive and healthy work environment to ensure the employees felt considered and respected.
While guiding employees I would also handle a daily heavy flow of paperwork as well as cooperating with the accounting department to ensure the daily invoices were taken care of in a timely manner. A few days a week my position would overtake staffing schedules. During this time, I would work with the management team to implement the proper division of responsibilities as well as strategically schedule team members to maintain optimal staffing levels at all times.
At least once a day I oversaw and produced written performance reviews for at least four employees. During these performance reviews, I would develop/enforce safety standards while correcting procedures for sanitation and package quality. The most rewarding part was recognizing outstanding work performance to cultivate a positive and collaborative customer service culture.
