I consider myself as highly adaptive and willing to work across domains and functions. Over my career I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work in Manufacturing (on the machine shop floor), Mining (in the Corporate office as well as frequent visits to mine sites) including software development with complex mathematical algorithms, Software product customer support (on the phones), Software product pre-sales engagements and customer site implementations, Operations consulting (Paper mills), Software project/program management, Software engine quality testing (Operations Research), and Real estate and construction company business process improvements and internal software application development.
As part of my PMO role extension, I have worked as an Operations Research QA team lead while working at Manhattan Associates with the Consolidator 3.0 and 4.0 engines for Walmart. I have also managed the QA team while at Blume Global. I am well versed in the various facets of QA including developing and executing test plans, enhancing test plans and relevant automation of test cases, performance testing, scope and regression testing.
I have worked with teams to improve on quality and as a result improve on relevant KPIs including lowering escape defects or testing cycle TAT.
I have considerable experience in project management with various methodologies / frameworks be it waterfall or agile or something else. I can work with stakeholders of diverse backgrounds and roles. My understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge with my PMI Project Management, Risk Management and Scheduling Professional certifications equip me to perform my role to the highest standards.
My certifications in Process management and my Master’s degrees in Business administration and Operations Research provide me with the abilities to be analytical, procedural and to work with various business tools, frameworks and methodologies for obtaining continuous improvement and gaining significant operational efficiencies.
