Anita Ding

Anita Ding is a passionate and hard-working sophomore studying computer science. She also enjoys playing sports and practicing her people skills in leadership labs and the military in her spare time.

Anita Ding is a Paralegal Specialist in the United States Army Reserve, assisting military attorneys with legal paperwork by being a witness to soldier confessions, conducting legal research, and writing paperwork needed for courtroom procedures. She made presentations on situation awareness related to military knowledge to non-commissioned officers and officers. She also has experience working as a Network Engineering Assistant on UC Berkeley campus providing backend infrastructure work through hands-on Juniper Networks maintenance.

She set up and maintain over 8,000 network subscribers for all residence halls and related administrative offices. She also supported peripheral devices such as registers, Cal 1 Debit readers, time clocks, security monitor laptops, laundry readers, and ADA access readers throughout Student Affairs at UC Berkeley.

Anita Ding is currently learning C and R programming languages. Her classes before the summer of 2023 involved algorithms, computer security, computer architecture, and operating systems. She is proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English and Mandarin. She has completed several in-class coding projects and thoroughly enjoys working in teams.
