I have 22 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner taking care of patients of all ages. I have lived in rural Northern Ca for most of my life but my husband and I would like to move to Sioux City Iowa to be closer to our daughter who is currently a medical resident there. I have a husband, two daughters, two dogs and a cat.
I enjoy Family Medicine because I like the variety of people and diverse issues that I encounter daily. It keeps things interesting. I would most enjoy working in another Family Practice Clinic or perhaps an urgent care as I'm sure that I could easily do that as well.
Some of my NP training was in an urgent care clinic.I also have some experience taking care of elders in nursing homes as a Nurse Practitioner as well.

10 years acute care as an LVN/RN on Medical Surgical Unit mostly
10 years as a Public Health Nurse Part Time
22 years of Family Practice Medicine and Some Geriatric Medicine as an NP-C
Masters degree in Nursing with Family Practice cert, board certified in Ca.
