Responsibilities
- Maintaining and continuously improving an in-depth understanding in mathematics concepts ranging from elementary- to college-level classes in order to effectively instruct and tutor students with varying levels of understanding in order to follow Mathnasium’s goals of helping “math make sense” and cultivate an enjoyment of mathematics at an early age.
- Complete regular, self-guided training in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring promotions to higher levels of the Instructor position and to acquire additional responsibilities.
- Attend, set-up, work, and break-down marketing events to enroll as many new students as possible for upcoming school years and effectively communicate the benefits of the Mathnasium program.

- Engage in loss prevention and a high level of customer service
- Develop speed when cash/drawer handling, cashing checks, handling large orders, and rectifying customer complaints
- Maintain a clean register, belt, and aisle at all times, even during high-traffic times, including returning baskets, carts, and unwanted items to their proper places
