Anneke Nijmeijer

Hello! My name is Anneke Nijmeijer, and I have a passion for creating community within the art scene to bring forth diverse voices. I have a background in curation, community workshop creation, and studio management.

I have worked in many facets of art education and community building. In University, I curated three galleries of student work, as well as planned and created educational workshops to uplift the undergraduate community. I have worked in the arts education field as an instructor, and have taught workshops to my peers. I work as a Studio Manager currently, managing all professional communication, researching and writing grants, and creating opportunities through extensive research.

I am graduating from San Diego State this May with a B.A. in Painting and Printmaking, as well as a minor in Classical Humanities. I studied for a semester at the University of the Arts, London for Painting in 2024.
