One of the projects I am most proud of is the Sphere on the Las Vegas Strip. I was employed by Solotech, where I held the position of lead inbound technician. I had the opportunity to construct the sphere from the inside out alongside a crew of 80.
Initially, I worked with the wiring team, then transitioned to the demolition team, and ultimately became the lead of the Rigging team. My responsibilities involved utilizing specialized equipment and expertise to safely move, lift, or position heavy objects and materials. This complex process requires precise planning and may involve transporting materials from other sites.
The rigging equipment used includes cranes, slings, and pulleys. Our team worked Monday through Saturday, with 13-hour shifts. As a result, I am accustomed to standing for extended periods, collaborating effectively with others, and paying close attention to detail.
If I were to identify one area for improvement, it would be my tendency to not stop working until the task is complete.
