Hi, I’m Anya! I believe there are some skills that people are just born with, and mine is the ability to create meaningful relationships with ease. I feel that this innate ability is a pillar skill in creating an amiable and collaborative team, which is something I can provide to any lucky company.
The experience I gained through my career choices have thoroughly prepared me for the responsibility, organization, and tactfulness that the field of research requires. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Physiology with a minor in public health, and the past year I have worked as a Lead Clinical Research Associate for the Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute. In this role, I have been able to master valuable skills in all aspects of research including organizing, auditing, and collecting data, managing budgets, CTAs, and FQs, screening and consenting patients as per protocol, and directing the collections and transportation of specimen.
I have also been able to oversee three clinical research assistants in generating a seamless workflow for the Solid Tumor Team.
I am eager to take the next steps in my career where I can bring my own expertise and valuable skills to my new venture, but also learn and grow immensely in this next chapter. I hope I get the chance to show you that I am an excellent employee and that I am in pursuit for solutions that positively influence the world through healthcare.
