For the past 22 years, I have been an educator and advisor. Serving as an educator means it is my duty to make a significant positive impact on every student. I am not only teaching a subject, but teaching life skills, such as responsibility, accountability, and compassion. Blended Learning English Teacher - Beacon Academy of Nevada - Las Vegas

This is a position designed to work with students in person and virtually. Students range from the ages of 16-23 with varying degrees of knowledge and learning styles. In this position, students attend sessions twice per week to receive assistance with the curriculum. Students have access to the content via Canvas and when they are not on campus, I can work with them virtually.

This teaching position provides me with the opportunity to teach and create online content. I have the opportunity of reaching hundreds of students per semester. The content includes online discussions, quizzes, asynchronous and synchronous lessons, and much more. I have the opportunity to meet my students where they are and assist them to achieve academic milestones. I use Canvas and other online tools to reach my students.
