From May 22, 2026 - June 22, 2026 I will complete 160 clinical hours of medical assisting for a busy Orthopedic Surgery office.

Council Against Institutional & Psychiatric Abuse (CAIPA) is the PAIMI Advisory Council for Massachusetts.
Center receives funding from the Protection & Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness (PAIMI) Program. As required by the federal mandate, an Advisory Council was established to advise the DLC on priorities and issues important to people who are knowledgeable about mental health services in the Commonwealth. The Council also provides information to others about the mission, purpose and priorities of the DLC. Council members consist of a diverse group of representatives from the community.

I am a volunteer research assistant under the guidance of Dr. Tanev of Harvard Medical School and the Home Base Lab at Mass General Hospital studying traumatic brain injury and PTSD treatments in veterans.
Therapeutic Support and Mentor at Northeast Behavioral Associates (2024-02 – 2024-09)
In this role I provided assistance to the clinician in providing help with the clinical plan for children who were part of the Child Behavioral Health Initiative of Massachusetts, which provides intensive in-home therapeutic support for disadvantaged families. Additionally, I also provided mentorship to some of the children in this role. Unfortunately, I was unable to continue this role due to the distance of the location of this role being too far away from my home.
Protection & Advocacy of Individuals with Mental Illness Council Member (Volunteer) at Disability Rights Florida (2023-06 – 2024-01)
As a volunteer PAIMI Advisory Council Member I promote the advocacy and protection of rights of individuals with mental health disabilities with the board of directors at DRF. In this role, I attended the NARPA Conference in New Orleans to connect with and learn from other mental health care rights protection advocates. I was unable to be on the council any longer after moving to Massachusetts.
