As a server at Wing House, it was my responsibility to look presentable and be in uniform while welcoming all of our guests with a warm and friendly attitude. At Amaris Salon and Day Spa I was the first-person guests would see upon entering the salon; therefore, it was my job to welcome in all of our clients as they absorbed the modest yet grand atmosphere of the salon. I also made sure that clients were comfortably seated while assuring them their stylists would be assisting them shortly upon waiting in the lobby for their appointment to start. Customer service was another important aspect of the salon, and customers were offered complimentary drinks and snacks upon waiting.
My other daily tasks included scheduling clients' nail, hair, and facial appointments, as well as organizing the salon merchandise, cleaning/sanitizing the salon and stylists' equipment, and handling all the salon's financial transactions. Communication is key as a receptionist when you are working to handle both the employee's and client's schedules.

Working for Tailor was an exciting new assignment for me. Tailor was a experimental app launched by Google where stylists had the chance to interact with visitors on the site who were looking for specific garments for everyday looks or special occasions. It was our job to connect with each customer and put together an individual lookbook for each customer for our guests to scroll through so they could browse each look and enjoy shopping online at the touch of their fingertips.
Each item in every lookbook had a direct link to every item we picked out showcasing what store it was from in case the customer wanted to purchase said item.

Working at Synchrony Bank required being able to handle multiple computer programs at once while assisting customers with their accounts. As a customer service representative, I answered all questions regarding monthly repayment options or other programs we were currently offering to our customers. I was frequently asked for financial advice or would need to educate our clients on the status of their accounts.
Customers would often need me to assist them with making payments to their accounts or show them how their monthly bills were calculated. It was also very important for us to follow the security protocols set in place by our company to protect all of our customers' accounts while providing them with the utmost care and customer service experience.

As a stylist at Kendra Scott, it was our job to provide a high-end luxury shopping experience and one of a kind customer service. We assisted with creating customer jewelry pieces and engraving as well. Other duties included fulfilling online orders, cleaning and organizing merchandise in the store, keeping the stock room clean, having a professional appearance at all times, and cash handling duties.

My current position is working on a local U-Pick farm, where customers are able to come pick their own fruits and vegetables by hand. I enjoy my time on the farm and often float between tasks such as working with the vegetables, making freshly squeezed orange juice, and helping customers at the check-out. I'm proud to say I have already received a raise since working at the farm and would continue working here if it wasn't seasonal.
