i am an alocholic and my soberity date is 8/12/22. I attend weekly meetings with my sponsor and I everyday I am finding myself more grateful than the day before. I love what AA and my higher power has done for me, allowing me to teach and or be a part of anothers recovery journey would be an honor. when i was in treatment i taught many classes, we were peer driven. i also am familiar with kipu and avatar.
For me it allows me to honor those who have helped me, for them it helps when someone actually has been there. and lastly i no longer am ashamed of my past because of how proud i am of my recovery today.
i have only hands on experience in this field of training. i taught criminal and addictive thinking, parenting classes, and anger management classes. i also have the privledge to lead a mindfullness group
my most relevant education would be my peer support specialist certification training
