Hello! My name is Ashley Tran, and I am currently a graduating orthodontic resident at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.
I am excited to move back to Texas and begin my career in an office that prioritizes quality care, teamwork, and patient relationships. I take pride in creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients while delivering thoughtful, individualized treatment.
Throughout residency, I have developed experience with comprehensive orthodontic care across a wide range of malocclusions, using both fixed appliances and aligner therapy. I am detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to lifelong learning. I am seeking a supportive practice where I can continue to grow clinically while contributing positively to the team and community. In my free time, I enjoy reading, trying new recipes, baking, watching TV, and hiking.
I am a graduating orthodontic resident with extensive training in comprehensive orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning, including detailed cephalometric and facial analysis, growth and skeletal pattern assessment, and application of advanced biomechanical principles. My clinical experience includes fixed appliance therapy (MBT/Roth/Damon), clear aligner treatment planning and staging, indirect bonding (Spark ODB/Insignia), early interceptive orthodontics, and management of complex malocclusions in adolescent and adult populations.
I am experienced in space closure strategies, anchorage control, and finishing/detailing of cases to achieve functional occlusion and facial balance. I have proficiency in interdisciplinary coordination with oral surgery, periodontics, and restorative dentistry for surgical and complex restorative cases. I have familiarity with digital orthodontic workflows including working with CBCTs and intraoral scanning.
