I am a full-time nursing student at BYU–Idaho with a strong passion for caring for women, newborns, and families during some of life’s most meaningful and vulnerable moments. I am committed to providing patient- and family-centered care grounded in compassion, trust, and sound clinical judgment. I thrive in fast-paced, emotionally complex environments and value clear communication, teamwork, and evidence-based practice.
I am scheduled to graduate in April and am seeking a nursing position in NICU, labor and delivery, or postpartum where I can begin practice upon graduation while continuing to grow clinically and professionally.
I am a nursing student with hands-on clinical experience across acute care, critical care, emergency, maternal-child, neonatal, and mental health settings. My training includes over 500 hours of clinical and simulation experience, as well as a maternal/postpartum preceptorship at Utah Valley Hospital, where I provided direct care to patients in the immediate postpartum period. I have performed patient assessments, monitored vital signs, assisted with medications and basic nursing procedures, and supported patient education.
Additionally, my experience as an in-home caregiver strengthened my skills in providing compassionate, patient-centered care, supporting activities of daily living, and maintaining patient safety. Through volunteer service and leadership roles, I have demonstrated strong communication, cultural humility, teamwork, and professionalism.
