Audrey Lund grew up in the Salt Lake metropolitan area where she studied violin from a young age, and she performed in competitions, festivals, and local ensembles throughout her youth. Prior to high school she studied with Dr.
Borup at the University of Utah, and later received scholarships to attend the School of Music. She received the Presser Undergraduate Scholar Award, and graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Instrumental Performance and a minor in Art and Music Technology. While attending she was a member of the Mount Olympus and O. C.
Quartets, and served as concertmaster of the Utah Philharmonia.
Audrey enjoys composing and has written works for fixed media electronics and for solo violin and live electronics. Since relocating to Virginia, Audrey has performed with local ensembles including Caravanserai Music and the Northern Neck Orchestra. In addition to performing locally, she works as an audiovisual engineer, and is cofounder and managing director of the media production company Digital Content Helix LLC. She enjoys creating visual art, swimming, and observing local bird species.
