Dr. Nassar is an associate professor of Surgery working at Stanford University, USA. Is board certified in General Surgery and Critical Care in both the USA and Canada. Dr. Nassar earned an MSc degree in Health Science Education from McMaster University, Canada.

In addition, it includes developing assessment tools for trainees and burnout among physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Dr. Nassar is especially interested in training trainees in simulation-based medical education with a focus on perioperative inter-professional collaboration and patient safety. He is a true clinician-educator and is a certified simulation educator as well as an ATLS, ASSET course director.
