My passion for soccer led me to data science.
Learning about Memphis Depay's data-driven move to Lyon, following his unsuccessful spell in Manchester United, inspired me to switch career paths and become a data scientist. Since then, I never looked back.
In my nearly 2 years of professional experience as a data scientist, I have worked on various digital products, including a grocery delivery app, a QR payments platform, and an airline tickets retail app. In addition, I have deployed several machine learning models, including a forecasting algorithm for food couriers and a recommender system that interacts with thousands of users every day. Adding to that, I built numerous ETL / ELT pipelines for the company's DWH.
Currently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Data Analytics at Boston University. Upon the completion of my graduate degree, I plan to transition to data engineering or work with data in the soccer world.
In my free time, I practice Brazilian jiu-jitsu, watch boxing and MMA with my friends, and geek out on soccer statistics.
2 years of professional experience in the data science and engineering fields.
Built ETL / ELT pipelines, designed and deployed machine learning models, and created dashboards.
