Ayush Pandejee

Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Researcher at Astrodynamics Research Group of Penn State (2026-06 – Present)

• Developing a research grade Space Domain Awareness simulation in Unity and C# that propagates LEO spacecraft from NORAD TLE data using SGP4 for analysis of orbital congestion, conjunction risk, and space traffic behavior
• Implementing astrodynamics and uncertainty propagation pipelines to compute time dependent spacecraft states, perform ECI/ECEF reference-frame transformations, propagate positional uncertainty, and dynamically recompute trajectories for interactive mission analysis

Data Engineering Intern at The School District of Philadelphia (2025-11 – 2026-08)

• Designed and implemented automated data auditing systems using Java, validating workforce records for over 10,000 employees through rule based quality assurance, reconciliation, and exception detection workflows
• Engineered a full stack workforce management application using React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Prisma supporting overtime tracking and approval processes for 10,000+ employees, including workflow automation, reporting dashboards, bulk data processing, and administrative management tools

Embedded Systems Research Assistant at Student Space Programs Laboratory (2024-09 – 2025-12)

• Developed embedded C++ software for a two stage sounding rocket flight computer, integrating IMU, barometric, and power sensors through I2C, SPI, and UART to acquire and log real time vehicle telemetry
• Integrated software, sensors, and flight hardware into a functioning embedded system, supporting hardware and software debugging, and development of vehicle telemetry and data acquisition capabilities

Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering – Pennsylvania State University (2028-05)

Minor in Information Sciences & Technology – Pennsylvania State University (2028-05)
