I am a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children and families. My background spans primary and urgent care, pediatric cardiology, and newborn medicine, including over a decade at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, where I coordinated the Single Ventricle Program and led several quality improvement initiatives.
I am also an experienced educator and mentor, having taught and precepted nurse practitioner students at UCSF, Samuel Merritt University, and Boston College. I value teamwork, clear communication, and a collaborative approach to patient care.
From 2011 to 2023, I served as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, providing advanced care to infants and children with complex congenital heart disease. My work spanned pediatric cardiology subspecialties including step-down care, electrophysiology, cardiac anesthesia, and the cardiac catheterization lab.
As the Single Ventricle Program Coordinator, I led quality improvement and research initiatives to enhance growth outcomes, streamline transitions of care, and improve communication between inpatient and outpatient providers. I collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams and families, presented nationally on pediatric quality improvement, and contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications.
This experience strengthened my expertise in neonatal and pediatric care, interdisciplinary teamwork, and evidence-based clinical leadership—skills I now look forward to bringing to a new practice setting in Idaho.
I hold a Master of Science in Nursing from Boston College, where I completed my Pediatric Nurse Practitioner training, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Napa Valley College. I also completed the Intensive Course in Clinical Research at Stanford University School of Medicine, further strengthening my foundation in evidence-based practice and clinical inquiry.
