Barbara Christensen

I am a psychology student just finishing my Bachelor's in December, and Certified Health & Wellness Coach pursuing NBHWC board certification, with interdisciplinary training in behavioral change, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, contemplative psychology, and client-centered approaches to health and well-being. My coach training emphasized behavioral psychology, compassionate listening, client autonomy, and supporting individuals in developing meaningful and sustainable change. I am seeking a position that aligns with my contemplative, transpersonal, mindfulness psychological education with a trauma-informed, service-based setting where I can offer supportive services while expanding my experiences, and supporting the organization where needed.

Over the past twenty-two years, I have blended parenting, caregiving, teaching, and holistic wellness, lifestyle & business coaching, while currently deepening my education. I bring a grounded presence, strong attunement skills, and a capacity to hold compassionate space for individuals navigating transition, identity formation, and healing.
