I am a proactive and forward-thinking senior Finance professional with 15+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, financial modeling, and regulatory compliance seeking a career-defining leadership role in finance and business operations. My super power is relationship building, through which I excel in managing projects, overseeing fiscal forecasting, and building teams to foster a high-performing environment and meet project objectives, while meeting financial requirements. I believe that finance is the confluence of making sense of both people and numbers, and that a balance of data-driven problem solving and team-sourced creativity is the surest path to ensure financial wellness of a company.
I have six years of recent experience as a Senior Manager of FP&A at private equity owned firms. The small environment and low barriers to the C-suite made the roles larger than the title. I built a team of 7 from scratch, suffering only one natural attrition in 3 years.
I built the finance model to drive forecast, reconciliation, and cost savings initiatives for a $770M cybersecurity company, and I drove cost-benefit analysis for a national distribution center and over a dozen facilities across the two companies. On a large scale, I have 18 years, combined, in Finance for two Fortune 10 firms in multiple roles, ranging from regional Finance controller for APJ to North America Sales Finance controller for a 300 person, $1.2B team, to team lead for financial feasibility of new services at Dell. I specialize in adapting processes and organizations to meet the needs of its customers and business partners.
I relish the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams with a defined picture of success. I have no fear of upward management. I drive teams to share the load equally and succeed as one, and I love nothing more than seeing my mentees exceed their own expectations.
I have a Bachelor's and Master's in Finance from top schools, and I am sitting for the second half of the CMA on February 3rd, 2024. In the more unofficial sense, I have the education and experience of 15+ years of finding a way in and around an ever-changing world of business.
