As a recent graduate of Wesleyan University, I am actively seeking employment for July 2023 in journalism and publishing. I am looking for a role that will allow me to apply my skills and experience in writing and editing. I have thorough editing skills, sharp attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. I think quickly on my feet and thrive in collaborative environments.
I wrote for my college newspaper The Wesleyan Argus for four years, where I honed my skills in writing and editing and gained leadership experience as Head Arts & Culture Editor. Last summer I interned at The Village Sun, a newspaper in downtown New York, where I wrote about activists and artists on the Lower East Side. Additionally, I have previous experience as an Editorial Intern with GREY Journal, where I wrote about entrepreneurship and an array of social change topics.
These experiences have provided me with the opportunity to help teams achieve their objectives through the application of my writing and editing skills, research skills, and creativity.
I recently graduated from Wesleyan University, where I was a double major in English and Psychology and received an honors degree and a 3.97 GPA.
