Bethany K. Butterfield

My name is Bethany K. Butterfield! I am currently a retail sales associate with over 1.5 years of experience who excels in every area of the sales floor, including helping customers with their mission or goals, ringing at the register and working with technology, completing tasks relating to merchandise (such as replenishment, visual placement, and meeting folding requirements), and running the fitting room.

I have also worked in the stockroom to pack, unpack, and organize merchandise. I am passionate about keeping a clean, tidy, happy atmosphere. I love organizing things according to a high standard, working in a team to accomplish specified goals and develop content relationships with my coworkers, and exceeding customer expectations so they leave happier than when they entered the store.

I have worked as a retail sales associate at J.Crew Factory since August 2023. There I was able to develop diverse skills such as working with and styling customers, using technology to record hourly statistics and look up inventory for merchandise in store and online, packing, unpacking, organizing, folding, and placing merchandise onto the sales floor, keep every area of the store clean and tidy, running a fitting room, and working with a team to accomplish specific objectives.

I have not received any formal education to become a retail sales associate. However, I have taken two years in a Family and Human Relations degree and earned two certificates: first, a PathwayConnect Certificate, which taught me general life, academic, and professional skills. And second, a Family Relations certificate, which taught me the knowledge and skills to support a healthy family life, basic communication skills, conflict resolution skills, and family financial management skills.
