General/Operations Manager at Golden Spur Steakhouse and Saloon (2009-07 – 2013-10)

I began working for the Golden Spur Steakhouse and Saloon in 2009 as the General and Operations Manager for Steve and Kay Davison. My responsibilities were vast including all weekly food orders, liquor orders, monthly inventories and daily book keeping. I was in charge of all daily audits and deposits and also worked closely with my distributors to create new revenue streams through innovating new policies and procedures to increase sales.

I was in charge of hiring and firing all employees and made sure through team meetings that we all worked together to reach a common goal of superb service and excellent food. My other responsibilities included cutting all of the steakhouses meat and inspecting all entrees that left our kitchen. I also developed our Golden Spur Website and updated it regularly as our menu would change each season.

Through social media i was able to advertise our establishment and bring in more revenue therefore increasing our profits from year to year. My other responsibilities included making sure that out labor % ran smoothly at approximately 13% in the Kitchen and 7% in the front of the establishment, keeping our food cost at 30%, managing approximately 30-40 employees at any given time, doing all scheduling of those employees weekly, and handling all company payroll. I really enjoyed the atmosphere at the Golden Spur Steakhouse but unfortunately the business was sold.

Sub-Contractor at Becker Development (2003-08 – 2006-12)

While being a part of Becker Development in Casper, Wyoming for three years I worked closely with architects and assembled single family homes, As foreman i trained and supervised carpenters, electricians, and laborers while managing my own construction crew. I fulfilled customer service duties while partnering successfully with departments, clients and other crews to produce a positive outcome to grow and prosper the company Becker Development. My main objective was to strengthen our company's business by leading my crew to exceed company objectives to increase the employee loyalty and therefore reduce the turnover.

I was in charge of hiring and training new laborers that became a part of our team. I also operated heavy equipment while employed with Becker Development and insured timely manufacturing and production within my own crew. I worked closely with all departments, clients and management to achieve our company's desired result.
