Civil Engineering Intern at SpaceX (2026-05 – 2026-08)
Managed design-build civil projects totaling over $900k supporting development of the Starbase spaceport city, working in a fast-paced construction environment with aggressive schedules.
- Demolished and graded a 40,000 SF site to meet drainage and crane installation requirements using Civil 3D surface modeling; supported construction management, bidding, and cost estimation.
- Managed construction changes for two lift station upgrades and a new sanitary force main installation; coordinated activation of multi-mile force main infrastructure to bring lift stations online.
- Assisted with the design and bidding of an 11,000 LF utility and light-pole project supporting development of a new site warehouse.
- Designed land development improvements for a city amenity in Civil 3D, including grading, drainage, water/wastewater utilities, and electrical routing; managed demolition coordination for the existing site.
Civil Engineering Intern at Kimley-Horn (2025-05 – 2025-08)
- Designed Civil3D plans for the repair of 16 lift/pump stations and associated force mains in Manatee County.
- Compiled geotechnical drill reports using BoreAid and integrated findings into design recommendations.
- Performed material analysis of sanitary gravity main systems and evaluated soil load-bearing capacity for the Hernando de Soto Bridge near Tampa Bay. Also served smaller water/wastewater infrastructure projects for Pinellas County.
Full-Team Lead / President at Cornell Nexus Project Team (2024-02 – Present)
- Led a 70+ member team developing a solar-powered autonomous robot capable of filtering microplastics across 20+km of coastline. Managed recruitment, operations, long-term strategy; reviewed 200+ applications and organized deliverables. Processed over $25,000 in yearly expenditures (May 2025 - Aug 2026).
- Previously designed mechanical subsystems including water handling, encoder housing (±0.1° precision in motor rotation), and a sand collection push mower attachment that improves the efficiency and consistency of sand intake for filtering. Transitioning to mentor role.
Undergraduate Researcher at Reid Research Group (2023-12 – Present)
- Researched how nitrogen fertilization and irrigation practices affect the emission and fluid dynamics of greenhouse gases as well as arsenic and iron dynamics, redox reactions, and water quality in paddy soils.
- Obtained $8000 CIDA funded fellowship for an independent project exploring the correlation between soil compaction, methane, and dissolved oxygen levels in paddy soil environments.
Policy Analyst - Center for Environmental and Technology Policy at Cornell Policy Group (2023-09 – Present)
- Conducted environmental research on historical records of contamination sites, digital agriculture, and green universities, and wrote published proposals and op-eds utilizing research.
2nd Degree Black Belt at Tae Kwon Do Team (2023-09 – Present)
- Contribute to the A-team, representing Cornell University in competitive events hosted by colleges across America. Won 2nd place in men's division sparring at University of Vermont ECTC Competition.
