Treadmill Console Technician/Inventory Specialist at ID Logistics (2017-09 – 2026-06)

My main duties were to disassemble, clean, and refurbish treadmill consoles. I had to organize my equipment and maintain a clean and safe work area. Analyze the broken console to understand the problem and then choose the correct tools to fix said problem.

Keeping track of inventory was most important. To know how much of a part we had left so we could keep up with our quota and ship the proper materials to the client in a timely manner. Organizing pallets of product was essential for our keeping track of inventory, knowing where our parts were, and ease of access to our parts.

To do this I used a forklift and lift truck to load pallets into the racks and move pallets around on the warehouse floor as well as load and unload onto and off of trucks. I had to communicate with management as to understand what they needed from our department and how the Console Department integrated with the rest of the warehouse.

Inventory Control Specialist at Lineage Logistics (2011-09 – 2017-09)

Working in a cold storage warehouse facility as an Inventory tech my responsibilities are to maintain a current and organized account of the product being delivered, being shipped out, and waiting in the warehouse via an in house computer program system. To keep track of and find lost product and reflect current status in the computer system. To physically locate and move product in the warehouse for easy access for the operations crew to locate and load on to trucks.

To have proper communication skills with the operations side of the business as well as other members of the inventory team to handle the inventory properly. To communicate with my bosses accurately and simply so they understand what I'm doing, my goals for the day, and the relationship between inventory and operations as far as mutual goals for the day and week are. Following preconceived daily, weekly, and monthly task plans as handed out and discussed with my bosses to help me meet my goals and company goals.

I have trained on Forklifts, lift trucks, cherry pickers, and RF Scanners.

Amazon Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate at AB Delivery (2006-09 – 2011-07)

As an Amazon warehouse associate I was responsible for the unloading of trucks and organization of freight. All packages had to be checked in electronically and placed in the correct staging area. Packages had to be placed in the correct loading bins for other associates to wheel them into the proper areas for the drivers to collect and load their vans/trucks.

As an Amazon delivery driver my job was to communicate with warehouse workers clearly and precisely to make sure I was collecting the correct packages for my delivery route. Properly organizing my packages and loading them onto my van in a way that would coincide with my route to streamline the delivery process. Knowing and understanding the Amazon GPS navigation so as to arrange my route and make sure all deliveries are delivered in a prompt timely manner.

Working with, and communicating with customers to understand their expectations as to where they would like their packages left and delivery procedure; meaning, where I should park my van while making the delivery, should I knock or ring the doorbell, etc...Working with the dispatch department to communicate any problems along my route, letting them know if I finished my route early so I could assist another driver on their route, and upon arrival to the warehouse after my shift was done, return any undeliverable packages and equipment. I was also responsible for maintaining the condition of my assigned van for that day.

Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate at Leep's Supply Company (2002-08 – 2006-06)

My duties included delivering to both private homes and businesses to furnish plumbing supplies to construction companies. Organizing my route and using gps (apple & google maps) to find and deliver product in an orderly and timely manner. Interacting with customers in a professional, respectful, and helpful manner.

Communicate with customers about their orders, materials, inventory, and customer satisfaction. Acting as a go-between from customers to company; communicating things such as ideas, concerns, orders, and inventory from customer to my company. Maintaining the safety and cleanliness of delivery trucks and keeping them in top working condition.

Loading trucks securely and in accordance with the order of my route. As a warehouse associate I had to keep track of inventory in terms of both amount and location. Using a forklift to move pipe into the correct areas and to make sure items could be easily accounted for.

Also, I had to make sure that product was secured as we delt with very heavy pipes and could seriously injure someone as well as damage the product.
