Blake Bordner

Hello,

My name is Blake Bordner. I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2020 with a bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture and made my way to Jupiter, FL to assist in high end residential & hospitality design from Miami to Vero Beach and abroad. I have over 10 years of experience in the landscape industry from selling plants, to installing hardscapes and eventually design.

My passion for plants and learning how to care for and successfully grow/propagate them is what got me into landscape architecture to begin with. Since then, I have learned to hone my skills and elevate the concept of design through 2D & 3D visuals, creating artistic photoshop plans and elevations as well as creating functional 3D renderings and videos for multiple disciplines including interior, architectural, and landscape design.

During my education, I was fortunate to intern at Lear & Mahoney, a high end residential design firm located in West Hampton, NY that handled designs from concept all the way through construction. Providing elegant planting and hardscape designs throughout Long Island and Connecticut.

Following the end of my educational practice, I moved to Jupiter, FL where I continued design efforts in high end residential & hospitality landscape design for Nielsen Landscape Architects. Covering a wide range of projects all over South Florida and the Bahamas. I held this position over the last 4 years, learning how to assemble graphic schematic design packages for client review before carrying designs into the construction document phase for city approvals and permits.

In addition, I have provided 2D and 3D design visuals such as graphic Photoshop plans & elevations, CAD plans & elevations, 3D renderings and schematic packages for Interior Designers, Engineers, and Architects from all over the US.

Graduated from The Ohio State University in 2020 form an accredited program with a Bachelors of Science in Landscape Architecture.
