Whether I‘m working individually or on a team, I love tackling hard to solve problems. My experiences in my university studies and employment opportunities have helped me grow essential skills necessary for succeeding as an engineer, including critical thinking, Solidworks, and AutoCAD.
I am currently employed designing systems of solar modules which entails a great deal of detail-oriented data collection and decision-making to satisfy unique structural and electrical components specific to each home, while adhering to various standards of building code. I use AutoCAD daily to create the necessary plans for PV systems to be installed to these standards. Additionally, I have become quite self-driven as I personally keep track of my productivity and ways I can improve my own processes in performing work.
I’m my university coursework, I have learned how to use Solidworks for 3D modeling and drawing creation, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing standards. I have also learned computational programming for linear algebra in Python and G & M codes for HAAS mills and lathes, along with general practices for manual maching operation.
