Founding member and second person on the GIS team; built the operating verticals, RFPs, resource models, and role architecture that enabled global gateway deployment before functional leaders were hired.
- Re-architected gateway capacity and constellation economics. Led capacity modeling, GIS simulation, and constraint analysis that reduced the planned gateway roadmap from 1,500 to 350 and identified a 51.9-degree latitude constraint that changed the Plan of Record and triggered a Polar Shell license filing.
- Designed a capital-efficient global entry strategy. Placed infrastructure in 44 of 60 priority countries while enabling coverage across all 60; formed 17 operational entities in year one and unblocked 44 by year two.
- Built the commercial ecosystem from scratch. Authored and awarded RFPs to Vertical Bridge, JLL, Black & Veatch, Ledcor, and ERM; negotiated the $41M Vertical Bridge agreement, with 16 of 23 sites delivered through the contract by year-end 2021.
- Accelerated pre-production readiness. Aligned cross-functional requirements, used payload simulations to add Germany and France sites and double test time, and delivered three U.S. sites plus the critical Hawaii site within six months.
