I hold a Ph.D. in political science from The Ohio State University. Currently, I am an adjunct professor at Saint Xavier University, where I teach international relations courses. Additionally, I am co-founder of Center for World Conflict and Peace (CWCP), an independent, non-partisan think tank that focuses on international politics and security.
My work has been published by The National Interest, Global Asia, E-IR, The Wall Street Journal, The Diplomat, Global Risk Insights, The Jakarta Post, The Jakarta Globe, Asialink, and Strategic Review, among other places.
