Brayden Persson

I’m a passionate software engineer with a strong background in developing APIs, database management, and real-time system solutions. With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and over four years of professional experience, I enjoy tackling complex problems and collaborating with teams to create efficient, reliable software. I’m always eager to learn new technologies and contribute to impactful projects.

Outside of coding, I enjoy staying updated with the latest tech trends and improving my skills through open-source contributions and side projects.

I have worked as a Software Engineer for over four years. In my previous role at Eight Tech, I developed API servers using Golang and managed data with PostgreSQL databases. I implemented secure systems with load balancing and automated backups to ensure reliability.

I also collaborated with frontend teams on complex SQL queries, trained junior developers, and used GitHub for version control. I'm proficient in multiple programming languages such as Golang, C++, C#, Python, and SQL, and have contributed to several open-source projects.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Utah Valley University. During my time there, I focused on building a strong foundation in software development, algorithms, and data structures. My coursework included real-world projects, such as creating a compiler in C++ and developing a chess AI in C#. These experiences helped me refine my problem-solving skills and gain hands-on experience with both back-end and front-end programming.
