Brendan Aleksivich

I'm a data scientist with a background in both computer science (Masters in CS - Interactive Intelligence) and engineering (Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering). I strive to solve problems where these two domains intersect. I've spent my professional career so far in the defense industry analyzing complex systems and using advanced techniques to optimize solutions.

A few examples are using Reinforcement Learning on missile defense systems to optimize defense strategies and using reliability engineering principle engrained in neutral networks to make predictive maintenance remaining useful life estimates on aircraft. I excel in drawing real world engineering principles into my data science workflow.

I've worked in the defense industry completing a myriad of difficult problems on complex systems of systems. These include strategic optimization problems for missile defense scenarios and making predictive maintenance predictions for defense aircraft.

I possess a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

I will have a Master's of Science in Computer Science - Interactive Intelligence from Georgia Institute of Technology in August of 2023.
