My name is Brendan O'Connor and I am a passionate Educator and Care-taker for children with years of experience in both the General and Special Education settings. My experiences have covered every grade level, with much of my experience working in Social Emotional Learning programs. I am a Graduate Student, receiving my Master's Degree in Special Education (M.Ed.) in December of 2022 from Framingham State University.
I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and Liberal Studies from Westfield State University.
I have worked in the General Education and Special Education settings in many capacities for the last 5 years. My professional experience began as a Special Education Intern at both the middle and high school levels where I provided academic support to students with and without disabilities. My services in the classrooms continued during my roles as Instructional Assistant and Special Education Teacher, most notably working in a middle school Social Emotional Learning program, providing academic, social, and behavioral support.
I have worked at the elementary and secondary education settings in some capacity, as well as providing services to adults with disabilities in a adult day center.
I am currently a graduate student, receiving my Master's Degree in Special Education for grades Pre-K-8 Moderate Disabilities. I receive my Master's Degree in December of 2022 from Framingham State University. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in both Special Education and Liberal Studies from Westfield State University. My educational experiences have provided me with the preparation and passion to work in any educational setting, while providing services to students of any age group.
