From 16 to 18 I worked as a pizza delivery person. During college I worked as a Direct care staff worker. From 2001 to June 2026 I work for Michigan Center Public schools. I taught as a special education teacher for 7 years and second grade for 18 years.
I have a bachelor's of science degree from Eastern Michigan University. I also am 6 credits shy of a Master's degree from Madonna University.
