Brooke Kotzen

I am a senior graphic designer with over 10 years of professional experience in creating visual and creative design branding, package design, production, product design and production for major retail stores. I currently live in NYC working as a freelance and contract graphic designer and am looking for a full-time opportunity in office, hybrid or remote.

I have a strong portfolio designing packaging for consumer packaged goods (CPG) that are sold in well-known retail stores such as Walmart, Target, Macy's, CVS, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Nordstrom, and Office Depot. I also have licensing experience working with style guides from Disney, Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon, and others. I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, typography, color, trends and layout design, and I can create vector illustrations, infographics, photography and 3D renders.

I am a team player and a leader, who can manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality results and meeting tight deadlines. I am passionate about graphic design and always eager to learn new skills and trends. I'm a self-starter, flexible and imaginative that can work independently or collaborating with others.

With over 10 years combined experience in package design, print, apparel, and production, I’ve held numerous positions such as graphic designer, senior graphic designer, production artist, and art director. My designs have sold in numerous retail stores across the U.S. including Walgreens, Walmart, Target, CVS, Marshalls, Macy's, Nordstrom, TJ Maxx and Office Depot (to name a few). I also have licensing artwork experience and have created packaging along with other mechanicals for Disney, Warner Brothers and arcade games.

I’m creative, responsible and motivated. I’m proficient in Adobe Creative Suite along with extensive knowledge with typography and trend forecasting. I design my own graphics, illustrations and patterns along with using stock photography.

I'm experienced in using and creating style guides and branding. I’m also great at communicating ideas, following directions, and multi-tasking. I’ve designed a range of categories including accessory, apparel, appliance, back-to-school, beauty, electronics, food, games, hardware, housewares, home goods, kids, pet, and toys.

I’ve worked with numerous companies; small businesses and corporate offices as a full-time employee and freelance, in office as well as remote.
