I started out in the health care field in 2015 as a dental assistant and worked until 2018 in that field.
I worked in a variety of offices including: general dentistry, cosmetic and orthodontics. I then decided I wanted to get more into the radiology side of dentistry and came across Riverside College of Health Careers where I began school and clinicals in Newport News, VA to become a Registered Radiologic Technologist. I graduated top 5 of my class with honors.
Upon graduation, I accepted a position at Tampa General Hospital, a level 1 trauma center, and have been working overnight, weekends, there doing routine, portable, and fluoroscopic x-rays. I have been at TGH for 6 months and have learned more than school could have ever thought me! I love my job and the entire field of health care!
