I’m a medical student with a strong foundation in patient care, clinical support, and community service. My journey began as a medical assistant, where I developed skills in documentation, data accuracy, and bilingual communication while supporting physicians and patients in fast-paced environments. Since then, I’ve expanded my experience through hospital rotations, child care, and leadership roles in community initiatives, including coordinating a major food pantry expansion.
I thrive in collaborative settings, bringing adaptability, attention to detail, and empathy to every role. Beyond medicine, I enjoy learning new skills, exploring diverse cultures through food, and finding ways to connect with people across different backgrounds. At my core, I’m driven by curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact wherever I serve.
I bring a diverse background across healthcare, education, and community service. As a medical student at Baylor College of Medicine, I’ve gained hands-on clinical experience supporting physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals in patient care, documentation, and procedures ranging from EKGs to perioperative support. Previously, I worked as a medical assistant to a physician, where I managed patient charts, prepared medications, performed basic exams, and provided bilingual support for Spanish-speaking patients.
Beyond healthcare, I served as a child care assistant, ensuring safety, education, and conflict resolution for children in a community setting. I also co-led a major initiative as a food pantry coordinator, securing a $250,000 in-kind donation and building financial models to expand services. Across these roles, I’ve developed strong skills in communication, organization, adaptability, and teamwork, consistently balancing technical precision with compassion and service.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and double minors in Chemistry and English (GPA 3.95). My academic foundation gave me strong analytical, scientific, and communication skills, which I’ve applied in both clinical and community settings. Currently, I am pursuing my medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, where I’m building advanced competencies in patient care, medical terminology, and clinical procedures while preparing for a career in healthcare.
