Motivated biotechnologist and emerging environmental microbiologist with hands-on experience in bacterial isolation, molecular characterization, and NCBI sequence submission. Undergraduate research addressed detection of bacterial biofilms colonising terrestrial plastic waste to support biodegradation strategies, and contributed to a genomics study of bacterial diversity in the Khewra Salt Mine (Access Microbiology). Currently pursuing an MS in Biosciences at Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad, building toward doctoral-level research in environmental microbiology/bioremediation, with particular interest in microbial approaches to plastic waste degradation and extreme-environment microbial ecology.
