I recommend weatherization techniques to clients in accordance with needs and applicable energy regulations, codes, policies and statutes as well as inspect buildings to identify required weatherization measures, including repair work, modification and replacement. Furthermore, I wrap water heaters with water heater blankets and insulation and test combustible gas appliances and flues. I also make minor repairs using basic hand and power tools and materials, such as lumber and drywall.

I install and seal air ducts, combustion air openings and ventilation openings to improve heating and cooling efficiency. I am also responsible for preparing and applying weather-stripping, glazing, caulking and door swept to reduce energy losses.
