I recently graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's of Science in biology and a minor in chemistry. My interest in laboratory science began in high school, where I studied Biotechnology for two years at Pace High School. I learned how to operate several pieces of lab equipment and run several experiments there such as the PCR, Gel Electrophoresis, and ELISA. I then earned my B.A.C.E.
certification and the following year worked as a lab technician for the program. During my undergraduate studies, I completed several lab courses such as microbiology, pathology, molecular biology, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. I also completed a year long internship at reactive surfaces where I worked as a lab researcher. I am passionate about learning new things and problem solving. I am also a Class A chess player with a USCF rating of 1911.
