Cara Remal

For the past 22 years, I have worked as a psychometrist, administering a vast array of neuropsychological/cognitive tests. I am passionate about helping and upholding the dignity of each person I work with through sometimes arduous testing batteries. Through the years I became quite adept at helping those with anxiety maneuver more comfortably and swiftly through testing materials while remaining objective, unbiased, and orderly.

As a psychometrist from 2003-2025 I have enjoyed administering a vast array of neuropsychological/cognitive tests to those with a variety of challenges such as ADD/ADHD, Parkinson's, MS, Concussions, Alzheimer's and all types of Dementia, from ages 6 to 98. I worked for neuropsychologist Dr.

Clionsky at Neuro-Psychology Associates, who practiced in Springfield MA for many years, who recently began phasing his practice to semi-retirement. I also have 8 years experience working in and managing group homes with developmentally challenged adults, about 2 years as a mental health counselor on a psychiatric unit, and 2 years as a unit coordinator at Providence Hospital. I also worked for 4 years at a collective business doing retail sales and accounts payable before deciding to re-enter my field of study as a psychometrist.

I look forward to branching out to new avenues of psychometry, such as autism evaluations.

I hold a BA in psychology from UMASS Amherst.
