I have lived and worked in Brown County for over 20 years. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Tarleton State University. I have dedicated my professional career to serving those who often don’t have a voice.
I have worked at A World for Children which is a foster care agency for the past 23 years and served as the Regional Director for the Brownwood office for over 10 years. I hired, trained, and supervised staff. I worked directly with foster parents and foster children. I have extensive training in Trauma Informed Care. Prior to AWFC I worked at our local MHMR case managing adults with mental illnesses.
