I am a senior executive with expertise in federal, state and local government and community relations and external/corporate affairs. I serve as the Vice President of Government Relations for St. Louis based Mercy Health System which is comprised of 44 hospitals in eight states.
Formerly, I served as the Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer in Governor Haslam’s administration for the Tennessee Department of Health.
In that role, I was responsible for 12 divisions and a staff of 170 supporting the agency’s enterprise-wide budget of $633 million, fiscal services, information technology services division, human resources division, talent management office, procurement, contracts management, facilities management, safety and security. This includes oversight of 3700 employees in 95 counties and 126 locations.
