I am a designer looking to establish myself with a firm where I can not only contribute, but thrive. My background is quite unique, having both worked and studied across the country- from New York City and Chicago to San Francisco and more. Over the course of my education and career, I have worked as an independent contractor and curated a personal online shop.
My passion for interiors and the built environment comes from my belief that the common thread uniting us all is the desire for comfort, function and beauty in our surroundings- especially the home.
Independent Contracting at Carly Bremenour Home (2017-01 – Present)
While working with private clients- typically residential remodels- I have developed a schedule to consult, research and present my design concept. My process then moves through the schematic phase, purchasing and installation. I value quality products, sustainability and genuine understanding of the client in order to meet their aesthetic and functionality goals.
Interior Designer at Havenly (2021-01 – 2021-12)
This online service was a unique and fast-paced work experience through which I contracted multiple clients each week from across the country. Managing a variety of residential projects simultaneously, the company focused on quantity of output and sales. By emphasizing quality, attention to detail and individual connectivity while working remotely, I consistently earned top ratings on my designs.
Design Assistant at Redwood Living, Inc. (2015-01 – 2016-12)
Working at a real estate development company directly under the lead designer, I traveled throughout the Northeast region of the country, staging model homes and corporate spaces in each rental community. I worked independently on several locations, established relationships with vendors and developed protocols to streamline specifications and purchasing procedures.
