Hi! I am a student in the Doctorate of Occupational Therapy program at the Medical University of South Carolina. I am in my final semester and will graduate at the end of May.
I will be a new graduate in May of 2024.
I have 12 weeks of experience in adult inpatient rehabilitation from my fieldwork rotation at Encompass Health in North Charleston. As a fieldwork student I planned and carried out treatment sessions, conducted initial evaluation of patients, and was a part of family training with patients to discuss their discharge plan.
I also have 12 weeks of experience in outpatient pediatrics from my fieldwork rotation at Therapeutic Designs and Services in Hartsville. As a fieldwork student I planned and carried out up to 9 patient sessions per day and conducted initial evaluation of patients.
